Meet Dr. Simonian

 

 

 

  

Krikor Simonian, D.D.S., D.A.B.P.,  is a board certified periodontist and implant surgeon, committed to the practice of evidence-based periodontal and implant treatment.

Dr Simonian moved to Pasadena in 1981 and is a graduate of Pasadena High School. He attended the University of Southern California majoring in Biology and Philosophy. He was accepted to the prestigious Dental School of the University of Southern California, which he graduated in 1990 with a degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery. Dr Simonian practiced as a general dentist for 11 years, during which time he held a faculty position at the USC School of Dentistry. He then completed a 3 year full time residency at the Advanced Periodontology Program of the USC School of Dentistry.

In addition to his practice limited to Periodontics and Dental Implants, Dr Simonian is an Adjunct Associate Professor of Clinical Dentistry at the USC Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry's Advanced Periodontology Program.

Dr Simonian has lectured nationally. His scientific articles on dental implants, bone grafting, sinus augmentation and periodontal disease  have been published in several peer-reviewed journals, including: Journal of PeriodontologyThe International Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial Implants, Journal of the California Dental Association, Clinical Implant Dentistry and Related Research and Journal of the Western Society of Periodontology.

Dr Simonian is an active member of the American Board of Periodontology, American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the San Gabriel Valley Dental Society.

Dr Simonian lives in Pasadena with his wife and two sons.
